Therapy Aide

About the role

We are seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to patients in our Inpatient Hospital. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving day rehab setting caring for patients with post acute neurological injuries including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.

Responsibilities

• Providing physical assistance with therapy intervention
• Maintaining equipment within the department
• Assisting with patient transportation
• Other administrative tasks

Requirements

• Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants
• Demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team
• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
