Therapy Aide

About the role

Motion PT Group, a member of the Confluent Health Family, is seeking a Therapy Aide for a part-time position at our Bethpage, NY location. This role involves preparing patients for treatment, maintaining treatment areas, and supporting the clinical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation
• Preparing equipment and treatment areas
• Cleaning treatment areas and maintaining a tidy gym environment
• Ensuring treatment areas are well stocked
• Efficiently setting up patients with modalities to ensure safety and comfort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree track preferred
• Background in health, wellness, or personal training preferred
• Looking for candidates who are available all year round

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $17.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
• Part-Time: Monday – Thursday, 19 hours or more per week (work schedule to be discussed during interview)
