Therapy Aide

About the role

Seeking full-time therapy aide to join large multi-disciplinary team. Therapy aide would be focused on assisting the clinic's lymphedema and oncology team with administrative tasks, schedule and wait-list management, as well as assisting as a second set of hands for patient care in collaboration with licensed clinician.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Light equipment maintenance
• Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication skills to work with large team and team of four techs
• Must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team
• Must have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Pay

Starting rate: $18/hr, 40 hour work week
