Therapy Aide

About the role

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join our dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team at our Day Outpatient Facility in Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Infection control cleaning and laundry
• Light equipment maintenance
• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care, including transferring and toileting
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities and facilitating exercise groups
• Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic, friendly, adaptable, and eager to learn

Qualifications

• One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay

Starting rate: $18 per hour
