About the role
Serves Seven Counties Services in the Louisville area.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical services including intakes and therapy programs such as group, individual, and family therapy, expressive therapy, crisis intervention, psychodrama, and modeling.
- Maintains and completes documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, case reviews, court reports, letters, etc.
- Conducts case reviews and determines treatment and treatment planning based on client progress.
- Collaborates with external agents including CHR, school officials, family members, and other health agencies.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical seminars.
- Writes correspondence on behalf of clients and their families.
- Conducts case presentations and consultations with other agencies.
- Formulates clinical diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social services field with relevant certification or licensure (e.g., LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate).
- Experience in mental health and substance abuse fields.
- Three to six months of related internship or practicum experience.
- Knowledge of Kentucky’s board of licensure laws and regulations regarding clinical practices.
- Passing score on the ASL proficiency exam.
- Case load with varying levels of client disability and need.
Qualifications
- Fluent in ASL.
- Experience working with children, families, and adults.
- Independent licensed individual preferred.
- Ability to conduct case reviews and determine treatment plans.
- Collaborative skills with external agents.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical demands include occasional exposure to threats from clients or their families.
