About the role

Serves Seven Counties Services in the Louisville area.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical services including intakes and therapy programs such as group, individual, and family therapy, expressive therapy, crisis intervention, psychodrama, and modeling.
  • Maintains and completes documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, case reviews, court reports, letters, etc.
  • Conducts case reviews and determines treatment and treatment planning based on client progress.
  • Collaborates with external agents including CHR, school officials, family members, and other health agencies.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical seminars.
  • Writes correspondence on behalf of clients and their families.
  • Conducts case presentations and consultations with other agencies.
  • Formulates clinical diagnoses and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social services field with relevant certification or licensure (e.g., LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, LMFT, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate).
  • Experience in mental health and substance abuse fields.
  • Three to six months of related internship or practicum experience.
  • Knowledge of Kentucky’s board of licensure laws and regulations regarding clinical practices.
  • Passing score on the ASL proficiency exam.
  • Case load with varying levels of client disability and need.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in ASL.
  • Experience working with children, families, and adults.
  • Independent licensed individual preferred.
  • Ability to conduct case reviews and determine treatment plans.
  • Collaborative skills with external agents.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical demands include occasional exposure to threats from clients or their families.
