Therapist (Senior)
The Position
The Therapist (Senior) provides lead supervision to Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist staff and administers physical or occupational therapy treatments; provides direct physical and/or occupational therapy services to patients on the basis of physician's prescription; consults with school personnel, parents, physicians and representatives of other agencies.
This position will oversee day to day operations and staff in CCS/MTU programs. The Therapist (Senior) will directly supervise the following program staff: Physical Therapists (1 FT, 1 EH), Occupational Therapists (1 FT, 1 EH), Medical Records Technician (1), and Account Clerks (2).
The eligible list created as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill full-time and part-time regular, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur throughout the County.
Education and Experience
Experience: Two years of full-time experience or its equivalent as a Physical Therapist.
Education/Training: Possession of a valid license as a Registered Physical Therapist issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Other Requirements
Independent travel will be required.
Positions allocated to this class may require bilingual skills.
