Therapist - Safe at Home/CSED Wraparound Program
Position Summary
We are seeking a Community Based Therapist to join our STAY, Wraparound Program, and Outpatient Services. This role serves clients who are enrolled in the WV CSED Waiver Program, Wraparound/SAH Program, and Outpatient Services. The STAY Therapist provides intensive in-home therapy, while Wraparound and Outpatient services may involve office visits, school visits, or home visits. The Therapist works closely with the multidisciplinary team and communicates regularly with the client/family, other providers, and legal guardians.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered and trauma-informed psychotherapy to the family and client
- Participate in all team meetings, as scheduled
- Ensure the confidentiality of families served
- Communicate in a responsible, courteous, and professional manner with youth, foster parents, biological families, outside agencies, referral sources, STAY team members, and others as appropriate
- Caseload Management & Productivity
- Drive the treatment planning process from intake to discharge, based on client diagnosis and need
- Provide individual, family and group therapy, as required
- Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
- Tie treatment goals to outcomes
- Consult with foster parents, parents, school personnel or other treatment team members to address client’s diagnosis, progress and barriers as needed
- Maintain billing units and prior authorizations for each client
- Delivers services to clients across multiple environments, including in-home and community-based settings, and is required to transport clients as needed and travel between locations as essential functions of the position
- Data Entry
- Submit all documentation in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
- Understand Medicaid requirements and billing process
- Learn and execute Necco’s core software applications
- Crisis Prevention/Risk Management
- Conduct safety planning, as needed
- Submit critical incidents or other risk-related concerns in a timely manner

- Participate in and/or provide clinical and/or billing supervision
- Maintain provisions of professional license and/or certification

Qualifications
- Minimum of a master’s degree and professional licensure using generally accepted practice of therapies in the areas of psychology, psychiatry, counseling, and social work (LSW—with contingency of obtaining LGSW, LCSW, LICSW or LPCC, LPC)
- Valid driver’s license and required insurance coverage
- Training and Travel willingness. Travel to the client location is required. Must have reliable transportation
- Flexible hours and must be able to maintain a schedule that meets the clients needs
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
- Possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Teams)
