About the role

This role involves providing respiratory care through assessment, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans. The therapist administers medications, offers health education to patients and families, and collaborates with healthcare teams to improve care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Implement and evaluate care strategies.
• Administer prescribed medications and deliver health education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide clinical leadership.
• Support continuous learning and complete assigned objectives.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and achieve set goals.

Requirements

• Current state license and certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT, CRT).
• Successful completion of NBRC exams.
• Recent clinical experience in diverse settings such as hospitals, home care, or skilled nursing facilities.
• Basic computer proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire; ABG endorsement preferred if applicable.
