The Association for Individual Development (AID) seeks a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. AID empowers individuals with various challenges to live dignified and purposeful lives. This position is ideal for someone committed to making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled work hours including evenings
• Provide effective individual and group counseling
• Complete clinical assessments meeting program and administrative requirements
• Offer case management services as medically necessary
• Document encounters, consents, and other required information in a timely manner
• Maintain minimum service provision/productivity requirements as assigned
• Acquire and maintain required certifications and trainings
• Maintain client files according to agency policy
• Work collaboratively with a team of service providers and the broader social service community
• Conduct treatment planning meetings as needed
• Engage with clients to improve service provision and gather feedback
• Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisor
• Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and coworkers
• Support clients in accessing public entitlements
• Participate in agency committees and clinical supervision

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field
• Licenses/certifications: Preferred (LPC or LSW)
• Experience: At least 1 year in behavioral health preferred
• Physical requirements: Navigation of stairs regularly
• Equipment: Computer with Microsoft Windows applications, copy machine, telephone with voicemail
• Additional requirements: Flexibility to work evening hours, use of personal automobile, valid Illinois driver’s license, and maintain automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s policies
