Therapist - PRN

Overview

The Medical Behavioral Hospital of Clear Lake, Texas is seeking therapists to join its clinical service team. This position provides daily individual and group counseling, treatment planning, and care coordination under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall treatment planning efforts, care conferences with families and providers, family and provider care updates, psychosocial needs, and completion.
• Carefully coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population, ensuring the complex discharge process is managed effectively.
• Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required. LCSW, LPC, or LMHC provisional license is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred. Previous experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital is a plus.
• Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills.
