Therapist-Occupational I PRN

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses the patient based on subjective and objective information.
• Develops a written plan of care.
• Provides treatment according to established goals on plan of care.
• Documents interventions/care in the patient's medical record.
• Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care.
• Evaluates patient's functional status.
• Provides discharge planning information which includes patient/family education, follow-up, and referral to community resources.
• Contributes to the development of staff and students.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum required - Graduate of an accredited OT program. Preferred/Desired - Advanced training and/or certification in area of primary practice.
• Education: Minimum required - Graduate of an accredited OT program. Preferred/Desired - Advanced training and/or certification in area of primary practice.
• Licenses: Minimum required - OT; BLS Certification within 14 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Basic computer literacy skills.
