Therapist I

About the role

The Therapist I Child Partial works under the supervision of a licensed independent practitioner, providing individual, family, group, bio-psychosocial intakes and other modalities to clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conducts bio-psychosocial assessments and prepares comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy.
• Completes crisis intervention and documents all client interactions.
• Serves as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service and participating in performance improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in behavioral health required.
• NJ LAC or LSW licensure required.
• Valid NJ Driver's License required.
• BLS and CPI required within 90 days from date of hire or transfer.
• Ability to conduct therapy sessions in the language of the population served required.
• Works effectively with interdisciplinary treatment team required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and other related department specific software required.

Qualifications

• 1 year in behavioral health setting preferred.
