About the role
The Therapist I Child Partial works under the supervision of a licensed independent practitioner, providing individual, family, group, bio-psychosocial intakes and other modalities to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conducts bio-psychosocial assessments and prepares comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
- Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy.
- Completes crisis intervention and documents all client interactions.
- Serves as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service and participating in performance improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in behavioral health required.
- NJ LAC or LSW licensure required.
- Valid NJ Driver's License required.
- BLS and CPI required within 90 days from date of hire or transfer.
- Ability to conduct therapy sessions in the language of the population served required.
- Works effectively with interdisciplinary treatment team required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and other related department specific software required.
Qualifications
- 1 year in behavioral health setting preferred.
