Therapist - Co-Occurring MH & SUD

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health and substance use needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental health and substance use disorders
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support client recovery and progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care for clients
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate clients and their families about co-occurring disorders and available resources
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, etc.)
• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Experience with evidence-based practices for treating dual diagnoses
• Experience collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Experience providing direct client-facing therapy or behavioral health care
