ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides individual psychotherapy and/or case management sessions on an as-needed basis.
- Provides group psychotherapy and other psycho-educational groups to patients per program schedule.
- Conducts family therapy sessions as needed throughout the patient’s stay.
- Conducts prescreening assessments to ensure patients meet regulatory requirements for admission as measured by patient record audits.
- Conducts community education activities (individual and community) as directed by the Hospital Administrator.
- Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Two to five years of experience as a Social Worker in the mental health field is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Requires State LMSW or LPC license.
- BLS certification is required upon hire.
- De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
