Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support patient goals.
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate exceptional care.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families while promoting recovery, resilience, and overall wellness.
- Support a safe, compassionate, and therapeutic environment.
Requirements
- Hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Possess or be eligible for appropriate North Carolina licensure (LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LMFTA, or other applicable credentials, depending on position requirements).
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Be committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences with empathy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
- Experience: One year experience (including internships or pre-doctorate residencies), preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate or Licensed Psychological Associate, required.
- Supervise in Social Work, Resident in Counseling or Psychology Resident, required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.
Skills
- Good working knowledge of computers.
- Ability to care for behavioral health and substance used disorder age-specific populations.
