About the role
Full-Time Therapist In Training position providing individual therapy under supervision in an outpatient mental health setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations
- Develop treatment plans collaboratively
- Provide individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in treatment and recovery team meetings
- Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
- Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development
- Apply trauma-informed, person-centered, evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Practicum experience in mental health, substance use, or community services
- Eligible for or holding a Wisconsin "In Training" license (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- Active mental health licensure
- Experience with justice-involved populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments
