Therapeutic Visitation Specialist 139 ,

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team facilitating therapeutic parent-child visitation for families involved with the child welfare system.
• Visitation will occur in the least restrictive setting determined for each family’s unique needs, in order to facilitate a successful family reunification.
• Therapeutic Visitation Specialists will be trained in an evidence-based model, and will complete initial intake assessment tools, conceptualize personalized visitation plans, facilitate debriefings before and after visits, facilitate visitation planning meetings, and complete visitation documentation and reports.
• Therapeutic Visitation Specialists will transport both children and parents as needed, utilizing an Agency vehicle.
• Visitation occurs at time and locations convenient for the families.

Requirements

• Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• A valid professional license is mandatory with a minimum of a LAC or LSW.
• Must be able to demonstrate therapeutic approaches to engage families in reunification.
• Clinician must have experience working from a trauma informed framework.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

• Salary: $68,000 - $70,000 per year plus Sign on Bonus: $2,500
