About the role

BHNA is seeking a Therapeutic Training & Support Worker (TT&S) to join our In-Home Therapy (IHT) program in the greater Springfield area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, community-based services to children, adolescents, and transitional age youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families.
  • Assist families in strengthening skills, promoting stability, and coordinating care across providers.
  • Deliver therapeutic training and support services in the home, school, and community.
  • Support youth and families in practicing skills learned in therapy sessions.
  • Aid in care coordination by collaborating with therapists, schools, and community providers.
  • Help families build connections to resources, services, and supports.
  • Provide psychoeducation to caregivers on behavioral health diagnoses, coping skills, and family dynamics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and treatment planning.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services-related field required.
  • At least 1 year of human services experience required (2 years if Associate’s level).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of mental illness diagnoses, behavioral modification, and coping techniques.
  • Experience providing parenting education and working with children and families required.
  • Familiarity with child-serving systems and community resources.
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong written, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

Pay

$22 - $24 per hour
