Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex - Chicago

About the role

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinic-based Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex (TA/BT Flex) to join their multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through individualized therapy
• Collect data on programming
• Implement evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBAC
• Collaborate daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
• Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent college credit (60 credits) required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Completion of 40-hour training of ASD and behavioral related subjects/evidence-based techniques
• Experience working with children or clients with special needs required
• Experience working with children with autism preferred
• Active BACB certification preferred
