About the role

The Theology Teacher/Social Studies Full time teacher at St. Raymond Academy for Girls is responsible for planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of students. They will teach 3 Social Studies classes and 2 Religion classes.

Responsibilities

• Plans, guides, and evaluates the learning process of students in 3 Social Studies classes and 2 Religion classes.
• Reports to the principal and has decision-making responsibilities within the framework of school policies, philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
• Lives out the values of St. Raymond Academy.

Requirements

• Teaching certification in New York State.
• Experience teaching grades 10 through 12 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Catholic social teachings and theology.
• Ability to live out the values of St. Raymond Academy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administration.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.

Pay

Salary will range: $55,072-$76,907 according to degree and experience.

Schedule

The position begins in September of 2025.
