Theology and Religious Studies - Dual Enrollment(Adjunct)

About the role

This position is designed for current teachers at high schools with whom Marymount University has an agreement to deliver dual enrollment courses. The role involves teaching designated courses and contributing to program development, monitoring course content, and course implementation.

Responsibilities

• Teach designated courses and commit to program development and monitoring of course content and implementation.
• Follow the Marymount University Academic Calendar for all important dates as published at www.Marymount.edu.
• Submit mid-term grades/evaluations and final grades in a timely manner.
• Conduct the Marymount University end-of-course evaluation for students with the Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in content area or Master’s degree plus 18 credit hours at minimum (or School Director approval of work); PhD degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 2–3 years of teaching experience and/or professional experience in related disciplines.
