Theatre Teacher - 195 Day

About the role

This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades 6-8 and 9-12. The role serves as a general education classroom teacher in a middle/high school, teaching classes that may be single or multi-grade level, subject-oriented, skill-oriented, or specialty-oriented.

Responsibilities

The teacher will manage student behavior, assess and evaluate student achievement, and modify instructional activities as required. They will also carry out a variety of student monitoring and control activities.

Work Environment

The teacher may work off-site or in a combination of off-site and classroom settings, and may be assigned to a reading or technology laboratory, science laboratory, or industrial arts/technology education laboratory. They will perform duties within a team or departmental setting, but may also work independently in a unique teaching specialty.

Supervision

This position performs work under the general supervision of a principal and/or other designated administrator.
