As a Cinemark Maintenance Employee, you’ll create a welcoming environment for movie lovers by repairing and maintaining the theatre, equipment, and property—primarily during non-operating hours but occasionally during business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain theatre property, including tile, carpet floors, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls, wall coverings, partitions, drinking fountains, minor plumbing and electrical work, office furniture, and auditorium seats.
  • Safely maintain, clean, and organize Cinemark-owned tools and supplies.
  • Remove and dispose of trash, broken parts, and supplies from repair areas after completing tasks.
  • Clean and organize designated Maintenance storage areas.
  • Inspect theatre and property to ensure everything is clean and in good working order for the next day’s business.
  • Coordinate with the General Manager on items needing repair or maintenance.
  • Communicate needs for parts and supplies to the General Manager.
  • Keep theatre keys in possession, ensure outside doors are locked during non-operating hours, and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Meet with outside vendors to grant building access and direct them to work areas.
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while completing tasks.
  • Adapt to varying frequencies and scopes of cleaning tasks.
  • Monitor and report safety and security issues (e.g., trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons) to management.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with all ages, genders, and personalities.
  • Must be able to converse in and comprehend English regularly.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to take and follow direction with a sense of urgency.
  • Reliable transportation to acquire parts and supplies.
  • Ability to maneuver in limited-space areas (e.g., restroom stalls, auditorium seat rows).
  • Ability to safely mix and dispose of chemicals in compliance with state and local regulations.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
  • Noise level may be moderate to high at times.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.08 per hour
