We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Theatre & Acting Educator to join our growing team and lead engaging after-school theatre programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about acting, storytelling, and creative expression, and who enjoy creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. August 8 to October 30 2nd-5th: Tuesdays, 1:45-2:45 PM 6th-8th: Thursdays, 3:00-4:00 PMTK-1st: Fridays, 3:00-4:00 PM $50 p/hr In this role, you will: Teach theatre and acting fundamentals to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th gradeEnsure student safety and well-being at all timesPlan and lead engaging acting exercises, improvisation games, storytelling activities, and creative performancesFoster confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork through theatre-based activitiesAdapt lessons to different ages, experience levels, and learning stylesEffectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcementMaintain accurate attendance and incident recordsPrepare and organize activity materials, keeping the learning space clean, safe, and engaging Requirements 18+ years of ageAbility and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date.
