Theater Promotions and Operations Assistant

The Theater Promotions and Operations Assistant with the Robsham Theater Arts Center (RTAC) has significant responsibilities in the theater's operations, including management of the online ticketing system portal, web management, communications, budget and finance, house management, and supervision of student staff.

  • Serves as the back-up to the Box Office Manager
  • Oversight of the preparation of marketing materials to promote RTAC and the purchase of tickets through online ticketing system for theater events and student programs, including electronic and printed communications
  • Management of the “front of house" production staff
  • Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including sales verifications, reconciliations, and PeopleSoft transactions

This position serves as a member of the Division of Student Affairs, supporting division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serving on committees as needed.

Hiring Range: $28.21/hr to $35.27/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a theater setting
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Student supervisory experience
  • Event and facility management experience
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of VBO Ticketing Systems, When I Work, EMS, PeopleSoft and Kronos (a plus)
