Join a team where excellence in facilities, engineering, and maintenance helps power exceptional cancer care. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance to lead the operations that keep our state-of-the-art facilities running at peak performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facilities operations, engineering systems, and maintenance programs across the organization
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facility upgrades, capital improvements, and preventive maintenance
  • Lead and mentor a team of facilities professionals, engineers, and maintenance staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and healthcare facility codes
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and service agreements for facilities-related services
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative leadership to support operational needs through facility infrastructure
  • Direct emergency response and business continuity planning for facilities systems
  • Implement sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive facilities management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital, or clinical facility environments
  • Proven track record of managing complex facility operations and capital projects
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding $5M annually

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential preferred
  • Experience with regulatory agencies including Joint Commission, OSHA, and NFPA
  • Knowledge of building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to respond to facility emergencies 24/7 as needed
