About the role

As Catering & Convention Services Manager, you’ll drive catering and food and beverage sales while ensuring the hotel shines. You’ll build relationships with clients and groups, making every event a standout memory. With support from the Director of Sales or Director of Catering & Convention Services, you’ll hit revenue goals, wow meeting planners, and keep guests—and your career—moving forward. This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM); overtime applies and is calculated accordingly.

Education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior convention/event and catering sales experience preferred.
• Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events, plus professional selling skills (opening, probing, supporting, closing) desired.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate, convince, and influence clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and present effectively.
