The Outreach Team is hiring Campaign Organizers across Nebraska. Multiple locations available.

About the role

Neighbor, it’s your time to step up for Nebraska. We need your love for our state and its people, your skills earned from years of hard work, and your ability to connect with other Nebraskans. Frankly, it’s the only way we are going to pry back power from the politicians and special interests who’ve been calling the shots for too long.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with voters, volunteers, and community leaders across your assigned turf.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to help with canvassing, phone banking, and other campaign activities.
• Organize and lead voter contact efforts, including door-to-door canvassing and phone banking.
• Plan and execute local events to engage voters and raise the visibility of our campaign.
• Work with the campaign team to develop and implement strategies to win elections.
• Track and report on progress toward campaign goals.
• Represent the campaign at community events and meetings.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to progressive values and electing candidates who share them.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel within your assigned region and occasionally to other parts of the state.
• Experience in community organizing, political campaigns, or volunteer management is a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
