About the role

A Seasonal Sales Associate at The North Face is the face of the brand, bringing energy, authenticity, and a customer-first mindset to every interaction. You’ll create memorable shopping experiences by engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and delivering exceptional service. This role supports the store during peak season with the potential to transition to regular employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Build sales by maintaining a consumer-centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
• Share relevant product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
• Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
• Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Requirements

• Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
• Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods, perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight (with or without reasonable accommodation).

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements are valued most.

Pay

Hiring range: $16.92 – $20.79 USD per hour.
