Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean DMV record
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic technology skills (Email, Microsoft Office, Mobile Device, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Spend time outdoors in varying weather and elements
  • Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas
  • Regular sitting, standing, and walking
  • Infrequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and squatting
  • Lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
  • Infrequent reaching and lifting overhead, climbing stairs
  • Regular repetitive hand/finger movement
  • Infrequent grasping/grabbing with hands
  • Pushing and pulling

Responsibilities

  • Take and fill orders for service technicians promptly and efficiently; assist technicians in determining required parts and accessories
  • Communicate with service technicians to verify parts and accessories requirements are met
  • Make suggestions regarding specific parts and accessories needed for each job
  • Provide cost information for parts required on repair orders
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory control system and parts catalogue
  • Inform service personnel when back-ordered or special-order parts are received
  • Greet customers promptly, deliver exceptional customer service, and actively seek knowledge of parts history, merchandise, and automobile service
  • Work with the parts and accessories manager to reach profitability and sales goals
  • Assist multiple customers simultaneously while ensuring individual satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date customer mailing lists
  • Determine customer needs, explore merchandise in catalogues, and suggest supplementary products
  • Highlight new merchandise, specials, and sales; inform customers and staff as appropriate
  • Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and a pleasant attitude to increase satisfaction and loyalty
  • Ensure precision in all cash register transactions, including accurate credit card and cash payments
  • Verify and process merchandise deliveries according to purchase invoices; record merchandise into inventory
  • Prepare products for presentation on the showroom floor
  • Maintain clean, fully stocked, and appealing merchandise displays
  • Become proficient with computer systems necessary for parts and accessories management
  • Devote effort to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening
  • Attend company meetings as required
  • Maintain a follow-up system, including designated CRM processes
  • Set personal performance goals consistent with company standards and devise strategies to meet them
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning
  • Stay informed about business terminology and technological changes in products and services
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors and work rules/procedures
  • Participate in performance management and interact positively with others to influence employee morale
  • Uphold company non-disclosure and confidentiality policies
  • Work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required

Pay

The expected pay for this position is $18 to $22 per hour, varying based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
