THE GIFT SHOP (FELLS POINT) SALES ASSOCIATE

About the role

We're looking for a motivated, analytical, and creative individual with strong communication skills to join our team at the Fells Point Baltimore location. This role involves building strong relationships through partnership and collaboration, handling customer issues professionally, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate initiative and urgency in preparing the selling floor before store opening.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster long-lasting customer relationships.
• Share knowledge and educate other associates on merchandise standards.
• Measure and exceed customer service goals, including customer retention, churn rate, renewals, and win-backs.
• Go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inspire customers in all aspects of culture and brand experience.
• Maintain store presentation by organizing inventory on the sales floor and ensuring cleanliness and aesthetic appeal throughout the day, especially before closing.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant service experience in a fast-paced, creative retail environment.
• Shopify knowledge is a plus.
• A dedication to making people happy and consistently elevating the customer experience.
• Familiarity with desktop, mobile, tablet, and digital technology user functionality.
