The Farm Project CIC hosts week-long residential stays for children and young people on a working organic farm, as well as day visits and holiday club. Through hands-on growing, harvesting, cooking, caring for animals, and spending time in the woods, it offers a chance for deep connection with the countryside.
About the role
Seasonal role from March to end October 2026 (mainly school term only, with the option to combine with shop/café work for full-time hours).
Responsibilities
- Lead harvest and cooking sessions with visiting groups
- Lead farm and woodland-based holiday club
- Conduct school farm tours
Requirements
- Confident cook, passionate about real food and its origins
- Hands-on vegetable growing knowledge (or willingness to learn about the wider farm)
- Experience delivering education sessions and working with children and young people from diverse backgrounds (desirable)
- Warm and approachable demeanor
