Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense food to guests, maintaining necessary stock of related foods and condiments.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate counts and balances.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
  • Resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in team efforts to maintain an efficient operation.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining a food handler’s certificate.
  • Support the Standards of Excellence as outlined in the Team Member Guide to Success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One year of cash handling experience.
  • One year of customer service experience.
  • Ability to maintain a food handler’s certificate.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
  • Ability to use mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
  • Ability to collect and interpret data and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and use Valley View Casino & Hotel’s communication tools.

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and use oral and verbal communication.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
