Textile Engineer

About the role

As a Textile Engineer, you will help address material challenges or digital transformation gaps in clothing and footwear, bringing your expertise in textile properties, testing, and industry standards to create innovative, high-quality solutions that meet rigorous performance and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment
• Propose enhancements and implement solutions to meet the demands of an evolving industry
• Work closely with team members to gain quantitative insights from current processes
• Address material challenges or digital transformation gaps in clothing and footwear

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience analyzing performance requirements for clothing, footwear, materials, or individual equipment solutions
• Experience with fibers, yarns, fabrics, and garment construction
• Knowledge of sizing and fit, grading, block pattern development, apparel defects, quality assurance, quality control, and prototyping

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
