Textile Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are a small family business manufacturing textiles in America, looking to grow our family. We are seeking a new customer service team member to join our team of 9.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently and assist the founders of the company with any and all admin related work including customer phone calls & emails
• Working with our fabrics to answer customer questions
• Writing knowledge base articles on our fabrics
• Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure high quality content is being created
• Working with the production team to ensure availability of our stock materials based on customer forecasting
• Working with the fabrics in the warehouse to get to learn more about them

Requirements

• Prior sewing experience or background in textiles required
• Very organized and detail oriented
• Able to handle high-volume emails and phone calls
• Able to assist with fabric orders
• Expert in MS Excel, MS Word
• Knowledge of Airtable system is a plus

Qualifications

• Textiles & Fabrics: 5 years
• Customer service: 3 years

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of customer service best practices
