Texas Division Internship

About the role

The Ewing Internship Experience offers a unique opportunity to develop essential workplace skills and contribute positively to the environment. As a participant, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of wholesale distribution, including counter sales, shipping, receiving, strategic planning, sales, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Branch Service Professionals to learn counter sales, shipping, and receiving.
• Shadow and perform duties of a Branch Manager to gain experience in strategic planning and operations.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to perform sales calls and activities to grow the business.
• Learn from Regional and Divisional Managers to gain insights into business strategy and employee development.
• Participate in a Capstone Project, using your knowledge and skills to develop process improvement strategies for Ewing.

Requirements

• Candidates for a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Candidates for a Bachelor's degree must have at least 75 hours completed by the start of the internship.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in the landscape and irrigation industry.
