Test Technician (NC)

About the role

The Test Technician (NC) role is a full-time, on-site position located in Nashville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and in-circuit testing on electronic assemblies using a variety of test equipment and procedures.
• Set up and operate test fixtures.
• Interpret test results and identify and troubleshoot faults.
• Document findings in accordance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support root-cause analysis, perform re-tests after repairs, and help maintain test documentation and work instructions.
• Follow safety and ESD protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely completion of testing to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on skills in soldering and working with electronic assemblies.
• Good troubleshooting and fault isolation skills for electronic circuits and systems.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and functional test systems.
• Experience with calibration practices and adherence to test and quality procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, test, or repair environments is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in electronics or related field is a plus.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting are valued.
