About the role
Join the team responsible for systems enabling the rapid development critical to the success of Starlink. As a Test Technician specializing in test and infrastructure, you will help develop, deploy, support, and maintain solutions for fast and accurate integration testing.
Responsibilities
- Action test requests and satellite rework
- Provide general support to engineers and specialists during test campaigns
- Perform equipment operations using cranes, powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, forklifts, boom lifts, and/or scissor lifts around our facilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of experience in production manufacturing or test environments
- Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Able to read engineering blueprints and complete basic math
- Able to read and interpret fluid and/or electrical schematics
- Able to work independently and problem-solve efficiently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to provide constructive feedback to engineering and production teams to improve test system infrastructure, designs, processes, and parts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workspace
- Proficient computer skills; comfortable using email and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using CAD to design basic parts
Pay
Pay Range:
- Level 1: $23.00 - $29.00
- Level 2: $28.00 - $34.50
- Level 3: $33.00 - $40.00
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
