Your Responsibilities
- Connect and operate test stand unit and adjust controls as necessary to meet specifications
- Locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltage
- Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly
- Use computer test software effectively
- Complete required test documentation in a timely manner
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systems
- Communicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisors
- Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production
- Maintain the 5s program to ensure a clean work area
- Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements
- Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements
- Use hand tools
- Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks)
- All other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
- The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- A High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- A 2-year trade school (EPA) certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company.
