Core Functions / Job Duties
- Assist in the setup, operation, and tear down of the test architecture of various systems and sub-systems.
- Assist in the execution of test procedures, analysis of test results, and generate final test documentation.
- Support the troubleshooting of test issues and apply standard troubleshooting techniques to identify the issue with systems, support systems or interfaces.
- Provide operational support for trouble report resolution activities to include system problem isolation/detection and resolution.
- Support in the capture and collection of test data of each system and support system.
- Support in the development of test cases, test procedures and test scripts, as required by the project/program.
- Submit all required input for status report and/or Trouble Report Retest Status (TRRS) to the project lead.
- Aid in the identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues (bugs/TRs), as needed.
- Support in the training of junior members of the team.
- Periodically stand-in as Event Lead to support during testing or may lead a small team.
Skills & Abilities
- Foundational knowledge of common terminology within the scope of the program.
- Foundational knowledge of Test and Evaluation Methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of Technical Writing and Troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Standard computer-based business tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Basic knowledge of Data collection and plan development, to support analysis objectives.
Education & Certifications
- Preferred BS STEM Degree.
- GED and/or equivalent years of experience.
Typical Working Conditions

- Frequent use of keyboard and typing.
- Frequent sitting and standing.
Work Schedule
The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.
Pay Range
- ENTRY LEVEL: $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually, DOE
- JUNIOR LEVEL: $100,000.00 to $ $125,000.00 annually, DOE
Security Clearance
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
