TEST SBTutor- Math & Science - Biology (Part-time)

Duties

• Support the goals and mission of the college
• Provide quality one-to-one and small group tutoring to students
• Follow guidelines and current tutoring philosophy including the pursuit of CRLA certification
• Communicate with staff and coordinator/manager
• Conduct small workshops as needed
• Audit classes as needed
• Assist greeter with duties including scheduling and data collection

Qualifications

• Tutors must be sensitive to the needs of students at all levels
• Be able to coordinate efforts with other tutors/staff
• Have an excellent work ethic
• Willing to work in-person via college guidelines
• Online tutoring skills are expected
• Specialty in Biology needed
• Some knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology (A & P) preferred
• Ability to coordinate efforts with specialists and faculty
