Tutoring Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's target score, baseline performance, and specific test-taking strengths and weaknesses.
- Create structured lesson plans and timeline strategies that align with upcoming exam dates (such as the SAT, ACT, AP exams, ISEE/SSAT, or GRE) and specific student pacing needs.
- Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, practice test performance, and conceptual gaps, emphasizing both content mastery and time-management strategies.
- Track student progress through diagnostic metrics and communicate effectively with families regarding score growth, homework completion, and official test readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working with students who have education needs.
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
- Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.
Preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
