Test Manager
About the role
This position helps lead a team in developing hardware in the loop test system designs. The role involves working from concepts created by industry partners and maturing them into manufacturable solutions that are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of hardware in the loop test system designs.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians responsible for engineering electrical interconnects.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentoring to the team.
- Create and sustain a positive, collaborative environment.
- Ensure designs are properly reviewed and meet performance and schedule requirements.
- Direct the staff and activities of production test personnel.
- Develop and maintain departmental standards and procedures.
- Review and approve testing and evaluation methods for standard and special devices.
- Prioritize schedules based on product introduction, manufacturing, and engineering needs.
- Assist in evaluation decisions for purchasing test equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience.
