Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Lead the testing efforts for various software applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
- Conduct functional and manual testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Implement and maintain testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.
- Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting testing progress and quality status.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to align with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead testing initiatives and drive quality improvements.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Test Automation using Selenium.
- Proficient in Functional and Manual testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
