Test Facility Operator

Job Description

Inspect installed boiler systems and auxiliary equipment prior to commissioning.

Operate industrial fire tube and/or water tube boilers using 100% makeup water.

Assemble piping, ductwork, controls, and boiler equipment.

Complete daily boiler operation checklists.

Manage water treatment systems, including: Industrial water softeners, Feed tanks, De-aerator systems.

Operate and test boiler feedwater pumps.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.

Monitor boiler systems, gauges, charts, and processes.

Record meter readings and maintain accurate documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Burner Management and Combustion Control systems.
• Must be able to read Mechanical P&ID drawings.
• Experience with combustion tuning and burner management systems.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools.
