About the role

As a Test Engineering Intern at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support various test engineering activities, gaining practical experience in developing and executing test plans and assisting with data collection and analysis. This internship provides a foundation for understanding product testing and quality assurance processes. You will contribute to improving test processes and support the delivery of high-quality products by assisting the engineering team in test execution and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and executing test plans and procedures
  • Support data gathering and basic analysis during testing activities
  • Collaborate with team members to address test-related issues and improve processes

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in an Engineering discipline or similar field
  • Must graduate December 2027 or later
  • Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
  • Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
  • Honeywell Aerospace is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position
  • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant coursework or project experience related to testing or quality assurance
  • Familiarity with Electronics, Schematics and Electrical Basics
  • Familiarity with Lab Equipment (Multimeters, Scopes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic PM principles
  • Basic familiarity with test equipment or software tools
  • Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, wireless communications, or electronic hardware
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and laboratory test equipment
  • Familiarity with system integration, troubleshooting, data collection, and test reporting

The hourly base range for this position is $25.00 – $44.85. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
