Test Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $190,000 annually, with a clearance requirement of Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead and take ownership of software testing projects
• Design and oversee software testing processes
• Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans and procedures
• Work independently and explore options to improve testing methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related field from an accredited institution
• At least 5 years of experience in software system testing
• At least 5 years of experience in web application testing
• Experience with Agile software issue tracking tools (JIRA, Trac, Redmine, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
