Test Engineer - (RC-3)
About the role
Legato, LLC recruiters (Staffing@legatocorp.com) would love to speak with you regarding the following position: Test Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.
- Prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis.
- Report status and results.
- Supports the development of test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.
- Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.
- Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a Self-starter
- Demonstrated experience working with JUNIT and Mockito
- Automated testing experience working with 3rd party tools and scripts (e.g., Python, Java, bash)
- Demonstrated testing experience across multiple methodologies (e.g., system, regression, stress, black box, white box, integration)
- Demonstrated experience drafting testing documentation/artifacts (e.g. use cases, test reports, test plans)
- Demonstrated exposure and familiarity working with AWS and Linux
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of customer’s data ingest process and data lifecycle management process
- Demonstrated exposure and familiarity work with Niagara Files
- Demonstrated familiarity working with Python and Java
- Demonstrated familiarity and exposure working with various data types and file formats (e.g. JSON, CSV, XML, etc.)
- At least eight (8) years experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required. Four (4) years of equivalent experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree for a total of twelve (12) years of experience.
