Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Senior Test Engineer supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE). GDIT supports CMS's FFE program with new functionality development for Plan Management, Eligibility & Enrollment (E&E), Financial Management, Marketplace Consumer Record, and other Marketplace Health Exchange functional areas.
Responsibilities
- Plan, construct, and execute test scripts.
- Apply business and functional knowledge, including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
- Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
- Track defects in a defect repository.
- Execute assigned testing activities within specified time frames to meet committed delivery dates.
- Perform regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and usability testing as assigned.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes.
- Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites.
- Create reports and document defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (candidate résumé should include names and graduation dates from institutes of higher learning).
- 3+ years of experience with end-to-end Agile manual and automated software testing, including Technical Test Execution, Test Management, participating in code reviews, and monitoring, reporting, and documenting defects to support continuous improvement.
- Experience with development of test scripts and functional testing using Java and JavaScript (Python preferred).
- Hands-on experience with testing administration tools such as Rational and CQ.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must consistently deliver work that meets or exceeds established standards, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail, thoroughness, and adherence to specifications.
- Established residency in the U.S. for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.
- Ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust (BI Full 6C (T4)).

Preferred Qualifications
- Gatling Test Execution experience.
- Scala REST APIs experience.
- Experience using AI tools for test case creation and automation, such as Continue Opensource AI Code Agent.
- Experience supporting data and test suite configuration with tools such as Jenkins/GitHub.
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Ability to produce estimates for new functionality or enhancements.
- Agile certification in SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, CSM, or other agile certifications.
- Ability to perform in high-pressure environments and under strict deadlines.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $98,900.
