What You Will Do In The Position
- Design, fabricate, and program Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Develop, evaluate, and recommend state-of-the-art and cost-effective test methods and equipment
- Evaluate new product designs to improve Design for Test (DFT)
- Develop specifications for manufacturing processes in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering
- Generate test procedures
- Curate time and cost estimates for tester development
- Train Technicians on tester operation and troubleshooting
- Provide Testing support
- Assist in the design and development of manual test fixtures
- Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Thorough understanding of electronics and design
- Strong understanding of basic Engineering Computer Software
- Comprehensive knowledge of test equipment and how to operate
- Computer programming skills
- Experience with commercial PCB ATE operation and programming is a plus
- Experience: 5 years or equivalent combination of Education & Experience
- Education: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering/related field or equivalent combination of Education & Experience - Required
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering - Preferred
